It is my pleasure to extend my goodwill message to the organizers of the Legal Business Conference, 2022.

The theme of the Conference, “Regulating Blockchain and FinTech Innovations: Finding the Balance” is quite topical and came at a time when the Nigerian capital market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Commission just issued Rules on issuance, Offering Platforms and Custody of Digital Assets.

I look forward to seeing lawyers take advantage of this great opportunity to understand the key concepts around this ever evolving ecosystem. 

There is no doubt that blockchain and FinTech have come to stay and those who avail themselves opportunities such as this one to deepen their knowledge in the subject will be the tech lawyers of tomorrow.

 I’m particularly impressed with the array of global resource persons who will be speaking at the Conference.
